Doma ("we", "us", or "our") provides software tools for real estate investors. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use our services at https://domarei.com and any connected applications.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Encrypted password
  • Subscription status

Google Account & Sheets Data

When you connect your Google account, you authorize us to access and modify only the Google Sheets you explicitly provide. We request permission to read and edit spreadsheet data solely to perform the functions of our tools.

We store:

  • Google OAuth access tokens
  • Spreadsheet contents required to run traces
  • Historical trace results so users can recall past work

We do NOT access any other files in your Google Drive beyond the sheet(s) you choose.

Usage Data

  • Search and skiptrace queries you submit
  • Processing results generated by the system

We do not track browsing behavior, advertising identifiers, or analytics profiling data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data only to operate the software you requested, including:

  • Authenticating your account
  • Processing skip traces and generating results
  • Editing connected Google Sheets
  • Maintaining saved trace history
  • Providing transactional emails (receipts, account notices, service alerts)
  • Billing and subscription management
  • Preventing abuse or system misuse

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

3. Third-Party Services

We share data only with services required to operate the platform:

  • Google APIs — Used to read and write to user-provided spreadsheets.
  • Stripe — Used to process subscription payments. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

We do not share your personal information with marketers, advertisers, or data brokers.

4. Google API Data Usage

Doma's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • We only use Google data to provide user-requested functionality
  • We do not transfer Google data to third parties except as necessary to operate the feature
  • We do not use Google data for advertising or profiling
  • Users may revoke access at any time from Google Account → Security → Third-party access

5. Data Retention

We retain account data and processing history until a user requests deletion. This allows users to access past trace results and maintain continuity of service.

Upon request, we will permanently delete your account data except where retention is required for legal or financial recordkeeping.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical safeguards to protect stored information. However, no internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure, and use of the service is at your own risk.

7. Your Rights

You may request to:

  • Access your stored data
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your account
  • Disconnect your Google account

This service is intended for adults and not for individuals under 18 years of age.

9. Updates
